Today our Board of Directors presented a plaque of appreciation to fellow member Karl Enlund for his wonderful service. Karl, now retired from the Oregon State Police, has been a member of the Western Lane Ambulance Board of Directors for the last eight years. Today he attended his last, and perhaps most important meeting, as they selected a new Executive Director for the district. Karl has been a major factor in our success and growth, and has been a voice of reason, diplomacy, and wisdom. He leaves behind fellow board members Mike Webb, Anne Stonelake, Bob Sneddon, and replacement Cindy Russell. We have the best Board of Directors around, and for that, we owe Karl and the rest great thanks and appreciation.
