Western Lane Ambulance District teamed up with Florence Police Department, Siuslaw Valley Fire, and the Lane County Sheriffs Office for a little active shooter training at Siuslaw High School. Most of the morning consisted of numerous scenarios and drills for our law enforcement officers and deputies, all of which they performed flawlessly. After a short break for lunch, all agencies teamed up for a couple of full scenarios with patients, extrication, triage, treatment, and transport. We look forward to continuing our training with all of you.
