Community Education, safety and accident prevention is one of the top priorities at Western Lane Ambulance. As part of our philosophy to help our community and protect its children we offer bicycle helmets free of charge to families in need. With the help of Western Lane Community Foundation, recently a purchase of 130 helmets were made to support this program. We would like to encourage all children to wear a helmet when riding their bikes, skate boards, or scooters. If you know of any kids in need of a helmet call Western Lane Ambulance at 541-997-9614 to set up a time to come in and get fitted. Child must be present to receive the helmets and only one per child.
